I’m McKenna

I have a big passion for everyday adventures. And am completely, genuinely in love with what I do, and the awesome people like you that I get to meet along the way.

I am all about traveling and exploring new places, from beaches to deserts and everywhere in between. My travel bucket list is pretty simple: everywhere. I’d opt for piling into a camper with friends over an all-inclusive resort, and food trucks over gourmet restaurants. I grew up in the midwest country, so I’m not afraid to get a little dirt under my nails or snow in my boots in order to capture your perfect moments.

I firmly believe that the best love stories are full of sunshine and the ‘laugh-until-you-can’t-breathe’ moments. The kind of love that makes you feel daring and brave, ready to take on the world hand-in-hand. And what better way to celebrate a wild love than an adventure to a secluded corner in the world?

how this works

Let’s find a time to actually chat with each other– to reminisce on how you two fell in love and your ideas for your dream wedding! It’s so important to have a wedding photographer that “gets” you and connects with you since, after all, we will be hanging out all day on your big day! When we talk about your ideas for your elopement, I’ll share my expertise to help you determine a general location and wedding date to make your contract.

The first thing after booking, you’ll receive your own copy of my exclusive Intimate Wedding + Elopement Planning Guide, which is over 100 pages of a catalog that walks you through each step of the planning process in detail (and helps relieve a little bit of that overwhelm with ideas and how-tos.

What do you want your adventure to look like? I’ll send over a brief questionnaire about your ideas, and then use it to help research a Location List that is completely customized to your wedding day goals. This will be a springboard to start planning the rest: travel, lodging, and other local vendors. I’ll help you with finding the permit applications and creating a timeline that includes all of the wedding-day activities that you want to experience in a stress-free and fun day. (Basically, I’ll help you with every part of the planning process, so the only thing you need to do yourself is actually reach out to book the vendors you love!)

The day has come! We will design your dream elopement and capture your experience into an epic day that you will remember for the rest of your lives.

Now it’s time to sit back (or lace up those hiking boots) and set out on your wedding adventure, and enjoy every moment along the way! And while you are enjoying your fun, laid-back elopement experience, I will be photographing your story: through all of the candid moments, the joy, the kisses and the laughter.

You’ll receive a preview of your elopement images within 1 week to share with your loved ones, and the rest of your edited images on an online gallery within 8 weeks.

You’ll also receive all of the details about ordering your custom-designed album from your day so you can keep the memories from your best adventure yet front and center in your home!

MULTI-DAY

$9,400 USD (+ tax)

This is totally customizable: two 8 hour days, or a 12 day and a 4 hour day. It gives me the chance to tell the full story of your wedding days without packing everything into one giant day: so you can relax a little bit or visit more than one location for your elopement adventures. It’s also a great way to split your time up if you want to dedicate an intimate “just us” day and then spend another day celebrating with your loved ones.

We’ll collaborate throughout the elopement planning process to plan the perfect day for you. This includes: custom location suggestions based on your vision, permit research and assistance, personalized timeline development, and local vendor recommendations. Plus, you’ll have access to my exclusive Elopement Planning Guide that walks you step by step through this process and gives you unique activity ideas.

You’ll receive a full online gallery of high-resolution, edited images with unlimited downloads, sharing, and personal printing rights (backed up for a full year!). You’re also able to share this gallery world-wide with your family and friends.  When you receive your gallery, I will also design a custom album from your day that you can order along with beautiful heirloom prints.

An early preview of your gallery, at least 15 images, edited digital image files within one week of your wedding day.

No matter what spot you end up picking in the USA that’s accessible by standard commercial airlines and a 2WD car, my travel is covered– there are no additional fees. (But if your elopement includes something out-of-the-box like 4×4 access, a helicopter ride or a safari tour, I’ll need a seat so I can document every moment of the fun!)

Rush Turnaround $1000

You typically get your wedding previews back within 1 week, and your full gallery within 8 weeks. To get your full gallery within 3 weeks, this is a great option. This way, you can share your wedding day moments with friends and family sooner, so they feel like they were there celebrating with you.

Extra Hours $600/Hour

If you want to customize a package, we can build something just for you using extra hours of coverage. Whether this is in the booking process or things are running late and you want to include more day-of, you don’t need to be crunched for time. I’ll capture every moment!

35mm FILM $120/roll

There’s something so magical about the intentionality of film photography. You can’t hold down the shutter for endless photos of the moment; you get one shot to bring it all together perfectly. Making that photo absolutely irreplaceable. You can as many rolls of film to your package as you want!

rehearsal coverage $1200

Whether you’re gathering with loved ones for a fancy dinner, sitting around the campfire, or dancing under the stars, the night before your wedding is the kickoff to your experience when you get married with guests. This gives me the chance to meet everyone beforehand and document all of the beautiful moments from your wedding. (3 hours of coverage)
